Angelica

Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American actress and model who is also a TV hostess and comedian. Panganiban (also referred to as the New Queen of Drama) is believed by different media to be one of Philippines most versatile, experienced and well-versed actors. On the Live Shows, she performed Clarity (by Zedd) in the quarterfinals, as well as without You (by David Guetta) to make it into the Semifinals. Angelica was able to make it to the finals in which she performed Symphony from Clean Bandit. The finale episode featured her performing Stronger, along alongside Kelly Clarkson. In the end, she came in second and became the youngest finalist in the history of the competition. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012, at the time she was just 4 years old of age. Her pneumonia was double due to an aggressive strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston had to place Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support when she urgently required life-saving medical treatments. The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed an infection that was septic and she was diagnosed with several organ failure. The process of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis later was her new norm. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica appeared to be dying and then on a road of healing. Angelica was in dialysis for nearly a year before finally being able to undergo the biggest operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The donor kidney would come from her mother. Angelica and her mother had an operation that was successful on the 13th of September, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from each other. Angelica Hale's dream to be a superstar has never wavered.
